I have been writing inspirational poetry since 1997. Inspiration for this book would come while driving people around, and in Church. Ideas would also come upon waking at two or three in the morning, incidents in the news, and the death of family and friends. Many of my own experiences are related to my poetry. The poetry looks at every day occurrences in life and how they relate to God. Showing us how Jesus is our source of Light, Hope, Energy, Peace and Love. That He guides us through life, offering us a peaceful place to rest, reminding us of the unending Love that God has for everyone. In hard times learning that we must Trust in God for everything. To take things as they come and thanking Him for all the lessons in life. Letting us know how life is a journey that we all must travel. Each of us are given gifts by God to enjoy and use. Learning how to live life with the help of God. Teaching us we need to share our Faith with others. Teaching us to look at the beauty and nature that God has provided for us to enjoy.
